Regent named 'Best for Luxury'

Southampton, 5 December 2012 – Regent Seven Seas Cruises has been named ‘Best for Luxury’ in the 2012 Cruise Critic UK Editors’ Picks awards. www.cruisecritic.co.uk/editors-picks

Cruise Critic, the UK’s largest online cruise forum, gathered its team of international team of editors to select which lines and ships they feel best represent excellence in 18 different categories.

“It’s true that when you are at this level, there isn’t a great deal of difference when it comes to suite square footage and the amount of free Champagne it’s possible to physically drink. Where Regent stands above the rest is in its extraordinary value proposition -- everything -- tips, drinks, specialty restaurants and even first-rate shore excursions -- is included” said Cruise Critic.

“This award is a great accolade from the team at Cruise Critic and recognises Regent as the most inclusive ultra-luxury line in the industry as well as all the hard work and investment we’ve put in to continually evolve our brand” said Graham Sadler, Managing Director UK and Europe, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Regent has also been nominated in the category of ‘Best Luxury Cruise Line’ at both the Globe Travel Awards 2013 and Aspire Awards 2013. To vote for Regent, simply visit http://www.globetravelawards.co.uk/ before 5pm on Thursday 6 December, when voting will close.
