As night begins to fall, you will drive along Croatia’s western shore, an experience that will present gorgeous views of the dwindling sunlight on the Adriatic Sea. Walking through the historical city center allows you to see the attractions up-close and at a leisurely pace. Your destination will be Bajamonti, a restaurant overlooking a 19th-century square. While dining, you will be treated to an a cappella performance of klapa, a style of multi-part singing that originated on the Dalmatian Coast. The singers typically stand in a tight semi-circle with the first tenor starting and the others joining in in perfect harmony. Few performances are quite so moving.
